Arvind Mediratta is a 34-year veteran of FMCG and retail, having held senior leadership roles at global blue-chip companies including Walmart, Metro AG, Procter & Gamble, Yum! Brands, and Marico. His experience spans both emerging markets such as India, China, and ASEAN, as well as developed markets including the US, Australia, and Singapore. He served as Managing Director and CEO of Metro Cash from 2016 to 2023. Prior to that, he held senior executive roles at Walmart USA and played a pivotal role in building Walmart India from inception to a $600 million business within five years. He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Calcutta.
